Seeing the album, After the Flood, come alive through light, image and sound was pure magic.

I’ve been working on a series of artworks that grew out of my cover art for After the Flood, the beautiful album by Ed Kuepper and Jim White.

Some of the images were exhibited in July at Woolloongabba Art Gallery and more recently they were included in the suite of visuals that screened behind Ed and Jim on their recent tour.

It was satisfying to see how well the visuals and music spoke to each other – how meanings were enriched and deepened in both the music and the images.

Working with these two extraordinary musicians was such an inspiring and intuitive process, full of surprises and energy.
